I'm back on the road to recovery. Did a bit of a 4 mile up tempo. It was exactly 4 miles. I kicked my pace up a notch every 5 minutes. Started out 7.30 pace prolly. got to the 2 mile point in 14 minutes exactly. So i averaged 7 minute pace for the first 2 miles. I finished back in 26.20. So i think i dipped it down close to 5.30 pace for the last 5 minutes.
At least i know i can still move my legs that fast. It's comforting.
Today..woke up pretty late...noonish..ha. Watched Bridge on the River Kwai in 2 segments. Good film...one of the classics. I enjoyed it. Alec guinness did a great job of acting. Played golf. Nathan and I played to a stale mate. I sucked it up on the last hole and let him tie me at 47. I was up by 2 strokes going in to the last hole. PISS
Othere than that...Cubbies...they won 3-0. they've been struggling but i really think they're going to overcome it and make the playoffs. Of course...i think like that when they finish 65-97 and finish 35 games out of 1st place too. But really...this year they're going to do it. Made some great acquistions to overcome injuries and ineptitude.
Anyway..i'm peacin ...later
